About Ronald G. Pestine

Ronald G. Pestine, received his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University Law School in 1973 and his B.A. Degree in accounting from Indiana University in 1968. He is the Senior Partner of the Chicago based Law Firm of Ronald G. Pestine & Associates. This firm specializes in Estate Planning and Trust Law, Probate, Real Estate, and Business Law. Mr. Pestine is well known throughout the Chicago Metropolitan Area and has personally established hundreds of Trusts and Estate Plans. His unique and insightful expertise has placed him in high regard not only with his clients, but peers alike.

Mr. Pestine has attempted to enhance public awareness regarding estate planning and related topics by conducting seminars on Living Trusts and Estate Planning for the Federal Government and in conjunction with various national brokerage companies, insurance companies, major corporations, park districts, school districts and retirement planning firms. He was the keynote speaker on WCIU-TV’s “Law Beat,” where thousands of viewers tuned in every week to participate in this fast-paced live exchange of information.
As President of Andros Development Corporation and partner in Libnor Properties, Mr. Pestine developed and managed over fifty real estate ventures. His expertise and years of hands-on success has given him a complete understanding of his clients’ various needs.
In his Real Estate law practice, Mr. Pestine has established himself as an expert at handling all types of transactions from residential to commercial. During this economic slump, many realtors and desperate clients have turned to Mr. Pestine to handle the complex short sales that have arisen as homeowners have attempted to avoid foreclosure. Additionally, estate planning clients have received an added benefit of having reduced costs in their transactions as their trust materials are often on hand for Mr. Pestine to utilize in sales and/or purchases of property.
Well versed in estate flow, Mr. Pestine is now assisting the children of past clients with trust and estate administration. During this difficult time for them, Mr. Pestine offers the personal experience and legal knowledge to assist these children of clients in making decisions regarding the welfare of their parents and/or estate. He has also taken on the role of Trustee and personal agent for many clients who have relied upon someone outside of their family members.
